Reading the Plan page
Starting Fitness is where you are now. Target Fitness is the peak the plan reaches before your taper. Ramp is how much Fitness the plan adds each week. A note tells you when your hours cap what the plan can build, and the Coach's take explains the shape of the plan in plain words.
Fitness is the 42-day weighted average of your daily Load. Fatigue is the same over 7 days. Form is Fitness minus Fatigue, and it is the number that says how fresh you are.
Missed a workout
A missed workout is not a failure and the plan does not pretend it did not happen. If it was a key workout, WattPlan looks for a sensible slot later in the week and moves it there. If there is no room, it tells you so and drops it. The week keeps its shape: no two hard days in a row, no two rest days in a row, your long ride on your long-ride day, nothing on a day you cannot ride. Days already ridden are never rewritten.
Asking the Coach to change things
Say what you need. "Skip today." "Move my long ride to Saturday." "Cut this week back, I'm wrecked." The Coach makes the change in the plan and records what the workout was before it changed. It will ask before changing anything you did not mention.
Tell it a new event date and it updates the event and re-lays your race week around it, with openers the day before and the race day itself protected from later edits.
Rebuilding the plan
Rebuild plan on the Plan page starts a fresh plan from today. Use it when your goal or your available hours change a lot. For a change to one week, ask the Coach instead.
