By accessing or using WattPlan ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

WattPlan is a cycling training platform that provides AI-powered coaching, personalised training plans, workout execution tools, performance analytics, and integrations with third-party fitness platforms and devices.

The Service is available as a web application and mobile application. Some features require a paid subscription.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

WattPlan offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of your app store
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our permission
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of the training data you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant WattPlan a licence to use your data to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can export or delete your data at any time through your account settings.

7. AI Coaching Disclaimer

WattPlan's AI coaching features provide training recommendations based on your data and established sports science principles. However:

• AI-generated advice is not a substitute for professional medical or coaching guidance
• You should consult a physician before starting any new exercise programme
• You are responsible for assessing whether any recommended workout is appropriate for your fitness level and health condition
• WattPlan is not liable for injury resulting from following AI-generated training recommendations

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Strava, Garmin, and Wahoo. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service. WattPlan is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, content, workout library, and AI models, is owned by WattPlan and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WattPlan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
